35 years anniversary today.

What a legend. Have a few favourite songs

But I think my all time favourite is Rosalie/the cowboy song

Met his mum years ago at The Vibe for Philo a long ago. All going well will make the next one

I love Phil and Lizzy so much - unfortunately I was too young to ever catch them live, though I did see a Lizzy tribute featuring Brian Downey and Robertson, as well as members of Phil'a Grand Slam band. Also saw Gary Moore a few times, including once with Brian Downey on drums.

Really loved Thin Lizzy and Phil. So many great songs but Angel of Death is my favourite - not well know but brilliant.

Phil lynott what a legend, first seen him play in Xmas 1978 at the stardust in Artane playing with members of the sex pistols called themselves "the greedies" with an upcoming band as support called U2,

Phil lynott gone but will never be forgotten RIP Phil.

If you haven't been to the annual vibe for Philo, its really great craic and chance to celebrate his life and memory

Warrington & Glasgow

I saw Lizzy at the Glasgow Apollo in 1980 on the night that the SAS put an end to the Iranian Embassy Siege. Made a change to the usual chatter in Lauders over the pre-gig pints! Memories!
