Gonna buy some stuff tomorrow afternoon.

Had nothing prior Lockdowns and I've got bored of repetitive workouts.

It's a shame they're closing though. Great case can be made to keep gyms open.

I should be OK as I am.

I don't know what I'm doing right but my smart watch has me running five miles every day without leaving the house!

You might need to change hands for a while to balance out the muscles

Doing a walking challenge with friends on MapMyRun it's a great motivation trying to clock up the most kms to beat them!

I'll be kicking up the mileage on my runs to around 40km a week, or 4x10km runs

I'll try and get out as much as I can. Either walk or cycle. I have some gym equipment at home and a spin bike which I'll hopefully do some zoom spin classes.

Any on-line work outs you'd recommend?

It's absolutely brilliant I am doing it since September. Just invite few friends and set up weekly or monthly challenge. Everytime they do a walk you get a notification. So its a great kick up the arse to get out to beat them. It's free to use as well. I've walked some serious amount of kms this winter because of my competitive streak!

I like the Fitify app you can pay for it but the free versions perfect. Lots of workouts on it. You can also customize it. So for example I can do HIIT on it. I can pick my different moves and reps customize the timer and rest breaks. Then you get bell notifications and countdown. Very simple to use.

I ordered a cross trainer today. Have kettlebells since 1st lockdown.

I cant run & am afraid to cycle: had a hip replacement due to bone cancer in Sep. I have been at the gym lately but I prob shouldnt be there as I am having treatment for the cancer.

So excited to get the cross trainer. Got a good one, its an investment.

I alternate cycling and walking, and i have a rower at home also. The rower is great, it works all the muscles and stands up against the wall when not in use.

Kitchen dancing is the best fun of all though, and the kids love it (not!!)

Always had my own stuff like kettlebells, dumbells, bars and plates and invested in an assault bike so all I need now is a heater in the shed and I’ll be set for this lockdown! Gonna miss the few regulars who were in the gym but hopefully the gyms will be back open for March?
