Benefits to being alone on xmas day.

This morning i was just reflecting about yesterday. There was a few here who spoke up about being on their own. I bet there was also many who didn't share about it. So for those who done the works themselves including the feast of the day on reflecting today what were the benefits for you ?

Peace and quiet

No cooking

Watching what you like on Netflix without anyone complaining

Ignoring the housework

And did I mention peace and quiet?

Having a pre-lunch whiskey without being judged lol

Yes for the the best moment was sitting to my feast in front of a blazing open fire, i was able to strip off and eat it naked. It's definitely a first for me but loved it , the tranqui was heavenly .

Yes it was getting to hot, so slowly stripped off my xmas outfit bit by bit, i was in my house robe so apon sitting to my xmas feast and a feast it sure was i then removed my robe. I was just so comfortable in my own skin there is alot to be said for it really. The start to the day wasn't to good but over all i am very happy how it went for me.

No stress, no pressure, nobody to annoy me, Peace and quiet, relaxing few drinks, I had a curry lol I've no interest in eating Turkey and didn't have to pretend. No fairness, Didn't have to listen to any d*unken assholes other than myself lol. The list is endless but I really can't stand Christmas

Very good that's great that you had peace for yourself and enjoyed a nice curry for yourself, turkey is over rated anyhow,i preferred the spiced beef myself rather than the turkey or ham. I totally get the no pressure i didn't have to worry about have it at a certain time so took my time cooking. I ended up having breakfast at lunch and dinner later on which suited me just right .

I knew it was a typo but couldn't make out what it was meant to be . But yes "fakness" yes very interesting word and can be perceived in different ways for xmas depending on the context. I was only saying this the other day to a friend about i rather be alone than be faking happy families.

Yes i was for most of the day but the evening when it was feed me time, i felt immediately cured lol. Invite me for food and i'll be there within reason lol. It wasn't easy but i surprising enjoyed those moments i spoke of later on in the evening and on reflection as a whole.

Exactly and if it's anything like 2020 it's definitely nothing to be celebrating anyway.
