i know most verifications means someone is genuine but does what other ppl say about the person have an influence on u when meeting them? personally they dont really matter to me,a lot of them are bull shit anyway and way over the top!

No, they don't convince me to meet them. They actually often do the opposite! I hate gory, detailled verifications. So I sometimes check what verifications the guy has written and if it's all "tight pussy, fucks your brains out, sucks cock like a porn star", I find that so offputting, I won't meet him.

I totally agree, i have never looked at some girls verifications and thought mmmm i soo want to meet her because of the way in which someone reviewed her

Paper never rejects ink i say, its best chatting online and getting to know ppl that way i think. The only reason i like them to be verified is to cut down on the freaks pretending to be women.

On the other hand when choosing a good restaurant i read what ppl hand to say and feckin beleive it What the hell does that say about me

I don't like it either... but I'll usually do them without being asked. When I joined the site they were much longer and detailled because I thought that's what's expected. Nowadays it's really just a verification, no details about performance.

There was a meet posted last week by a single guy around my location, his meet said him and his female partner was looking some dogging action, he asked would I be interested and I said sure that'd be good because he had a good verification on his page, only one but it seemed good nonetheless!

We swapped numbers and send numerous online mails and txt messages. I made my way to the agreed meet, even rang him to tell him i was soon to be arriving, he said him and his partner wud be there in 2 minutes, they never arrived!

Got chatting to other ones at this site, verified members of fab and they to were also there to meet this guy and his 'imaginary' partner.

Seems this guy just wasted alot of peoples times as when we arrived there that's when he stopped replying to our txts and taking our calls.

However some little boy racer dickhead was driving in and out of the site, so not hard to guess who that was.

Are we allowed to name and shame publically?

I've reported him to the site admins and hope the other fab members who use and support this site have reported him also.

So seems now that verifications mean nothing, and that this guy has probably faked his 'one good' verification.

So beware people.

From now on I'll probably pay more attention to other members verifications and try to suss out if their real or not. However I'll not let some complete timewaster ruin my fun, I met a great couple from fab that night who had also been stitched up by this guy. So not all was lost :D

I do have a habit of mailing verified people more then unverified but its usually after i look at veris before i mail them. They don't have to be warts and all veris but a few well worded ones always gets my attention. Saying that i am guilty of doing some warts and all veris in this and past incarnations of my profile but i usually try balance it with some kind of humour or a private i share with people i meet
