"If I've chapped lips, anything sticky or waxy that comes in stick form is actually more harmful than good I find. Just leaves you with greasy feeling wet lips, and only make u wanna lick/smack them, making the problem worse. Creams like blistex are the job I find." Gary is right, blistex is the business. If you want something balmier though, the nuxe reve de miel in the pot ( not the stick) is brilliant and not glossy so good for men too. Also the Dr Lipp nipple balm (or the rebranded "miracle" balm - same stuff) is a great multi use product, great for lips, dry cuticles, heels etc and lasts forever. They have it in tkmaxx at the mo so don't pay full price

"My LO has chronically chapped lips, so much so that she needed a stitch in one once. The only thing that works for her is Cymex. Chemist does it for about €2.80 and it clears them up a treat. A quick coat once a day prevents them getting worse. " Get her iron checked. Along with vit B12 and folate.

" I have a small container so its 1 tsp of coconut oil, 1/4 tsp of almond oil and 2 drops essential oil, 1/4 of aloe vera, 1/8 of honey. Re food colourant it could be a powder or gel or just beets juice. If you want to make a bigger amount then double it, divide by two and store in the fridge up to a month. I normally use it within a week.
