I think in my opinion they were innocent it was a rushed case to make it look good and no real evidence against them such as dna. Its a pity fot the poor families over here no closure at all could have helped a bit

have an opinion on the post, in that its strange how someone being murdered and the trial that accompanied it is an ok subject, but there are many others that the membership have poo pood that were just as valid.

having read only 1 story pertaining to the case, it does seem that police ineptitude is to blame for the equital.

i feel for the friend and family of the murdered woman.

this should have been their moment of closure, and yet, now, because of a backwards policing system (arguably much a kin to irelands in the country, according to Em lol) their torture continues.

hopefully one day, the truth will out

How does police/government corruption make them guilty ?

If nothing else, the DNA tests were conducted by an English specialist in England. So that should be totally independent. It seems there was little real evidence against the pair, the worst thing is that while the police were pursuing them, they werent looking for other suspects.

well it said in the paper the police didnt get any dna,and frm what i read i believe they were guilty!

also said the police didnt take fingerprints from ALL the people that had entered the crime scene, yet there were 4 fingerprints that DIDNT match the suspects or anyone else working in the hotel.

pretty lapse in my opinion.

She might not have even been robbed. Reluctantly watched enough of those trashy american crime shows to have an inkling the items removed from their honeymoon suite may have been done so to conceal another motive. Whatever the reality of those tragic circumstances that resulted in that man becoming a widower the police departments incompetence and corruption has resulted in the real perpetrator being left on the loose. Or those 2 man evading justice.
