I don't want to be a downer on for moods it's December Christmas is beginning to take shape and lockdown is over!

But is anyone else really unhappy at work recently? Whether it's the type of work, rate of work and mood or attitude towards work?

I understand given the current economic crisis it's very fortunate to have a job but I think it's a wake up call to get out and do something more ? Can anyone relate or am I just bored in work

It happens but there aren't very many opportunities out there at the moment so don't jump ship just yet.

Be thankful you have a job and a regular income. Some of us don't anymore.

I'm enjoying the change of pace that was forced on me 3 months ago but that's not much good if I'm not earning a living.

having work with covid is great for me but with a job which is your essential for income must come enjoyment. you need not love your job but if it's making you miserable week in week out, something is up. as was already stated, stick it out as very little openrtunity at the moment. could it be that with the country the way it is, very little other enjoyments has you bothered?

Tbh I dont like my job but it's more because of my coworkers. They all think they're too good for the job ( it's not a professional job ). Its full of lazy workers that complain non stop that they dont get paid enough but they barely work enough to warm themselves.

Of course last idea would be to leave unless another opportunity arose but I just feel things are slow and I don't have the same drive as before.

I'm also thinking of ideas to explore whether to open up shop or take up something totally new to keep me occupied

I really enjoy my job but after 8 months of working from home, everyone is totally fed up. I've taken 3 weeks off over Xmas and I'm hoping the long break will be refreshing enough to see me through til when we get back to the office!

Yeah the time of yeah has a bit to do with it. Throw in Xmas obligations and nights out abs you’ll be in your area by the end of the month.

That said, there is a culture creeping in expecting more and more from less workers in every walk of life. Work on getting some you time.

I reckon winter has a big factor. Cold and wet and dark.

Doesn't help the gyms have been closed and out movements limited.

I don’t enjoy my job but it pays well and the hours suit around my family . I think I am suffering from compassion fatigue tbh

I'm working from home and its been a godsend tbh. We aren't restricted busy our buildings opening hours and can fit my work around my life rather than the other way round.

As long as the work gets done, management don't care when its done.

I miss the office chit chat and seeing my colleagues but they're at the end of the phone or we can video call if we fancy a catch up.
