Is it worth it?

I think it’s fair to say that there can be quite a lot of leg work involved in organising a fab meet, making sure you’re on the same wave length, that everyone is comfortable, that there’s chemistry, aligning diaries, juggling real life, agreeing location etc etc.

So, by and large is it worth the effort? How often does it end, if ever, in mind blowing sex? We’ve been lucky in that we’ve had some great meets but equally we’ve had some that weren’t so great tbh. As they say, even the best laid plans!

I think yes it's worth it. The good ones make up for any bad ones that may have happened unless of course you end up with a really bad meet. Those one that end up being scary are not worth it at all. Luckily I've only had one of those and almost left after it. But I'm really glad I didn't as I have met some great people since and made some amazing friends from here who I consider to be real life friends.

In our opinion it is worth it when you eventually get the right couple, but we just wish couples would have there profile correctly stating what they want and dont want plus why do couples meet smokers when their profile say they dont want to, also couples have all interests selected when their not willing to do them xx

Yea it is worth it.. When it's good, it's absolutely amazing!! And when it's bad.. Its a lesson learnt and a funny story.

Tho I do think it's probably a lot harder for couples than it would be a single person.

When it's great it's amazing but when it all goes tits up sure it's just another hilarious story for the Fab autobiography. I have learnt that the more people brag about giving you the night of your life are usually the type of people who blow their load at the first sight of fanny and hightail it out the door soon after.

I was actually thinking the same over the weekend. When it's good, it's totally fantastic, worth the planning, totally satisfied and a barrel of fun and everything involved.

But when it's not, it just feels pointless and a waste of time and you leave full of regret having wasted so much time and effort.

With such a small community in Ireland it's such a chore finding the right people to share.

We haven't found that perfect match yet, had a lot of fun along the way, nothing mind blowing just yet.

The best times we have had have been with single males and females getting four people on the same page as far as attraction and vibe is hard.

We had a couple that we met on a regular but they broke up and it's been few years since. Still looking for that spark.

Oh yes it’s absolutely worth it

It actually doesn’t take that much effort, if it’s taking effort the maybe the meet shouldn’t go ahead

OP,

we hear you with regard to the efforts it takes to make this game work in Ireland . If only we would have an infrastructure fir the purpose like they got in the UK and in continental Europe . Clubs where couples can go without major expectation for a casual night out, indulging lasziv and sexy atmosphere , meet people and let erotic develop in the spontaneous dynamic of the moment . But alas , though The Vanilla club in Dublin , RVC in Cork and yer man in Limerick who is on the no go list of many Irish fabbers, they all try their best to fill the gap , but the hypocracy of the society and the state make it difficult - and the bad gossip habit in Ireland among cousins doesn’t help either

From that perspective there is no choice but having complicated arrangements with uncertain outcome if one wants to enjoy this game . However once you score a pleasant match of play partners , the satisfaction , lust pleasure and intimacy will outperform the nice but shallow club scene of e.g. Holland or France .

Well, that is of course our individuell perspective, others may see it different

Yes definitely because the good ones are worth the wait and the odd disappointing one or bad one makes the good ones even better. Im glad to say I've had a lot more good than bad and have made some amazing friends, learned a few things about myself and my likes

Life is all about new experiences, good and bad. As long as you are having more good than bad then it should be worth it but with that being said its really down to person or persons to decide how much bad is too much.

Sign off for a while, give it some time and see if there is still a desire to continue in the lifestyle and then make a decision.

Even with the best of filters & good convo leading up to a meet it can still not work out. Sometimes there's just no real life attraction, sometimes you discover they've misrepresented themselves, but sometimes it just clicks & it reminds you why you keep putting the effort in.

I've met some great people. True, some weren't great but the better ones done more than enough to make up for it.

The convo has to go good first, you can tell a lot about someone from a brief chat.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences so far.. all with the same anxiety to start but all ending with varying degrees of trouser fiddling or great sex.. it’s been worth it from my point of view so far anyway...
