What's alternate to ping pong messaging if we can't meetup for now

Just wondering what's people's thoughts/suggestions on how to keep the initial interest going without endless messages, until we get back to being able to meet up safely again. Had a few instances where we were both initially keen and got to the point where we should be arranging a meetup but since that wasn't possible with lockdowns it cooled off and stopped getting replies...

Unless you're into camming or sexting, or meeting regardless of the risk of spreading Covid, there aren't many alternatives. We can't be bothered with striking up new conversation right now, only here for the forums.
