We have just saw a profile which was a single male on Monday, verified as a single male, by photo and meet/cam turned into a single female couple now, which still has the photo and meet verification, are we missing something, because we saw them on cam and it was a man

Claiming to be a single female or a couple?

The sex of the profile can only be changed when setting up the account so if it shows as female now it always was even if it's really a man hiding behind it.

It is possible to have an account changed by admin though. For example, if an account is a single one but reads like it is a couple's account, admin may change it accordingly

Think that's what's happened, they have been reported to admin, who changed it from a single verified male to a single verified female

Too many fakes on the website isn't there? Way it goes I guess.

I was prompted by several guys to "exchange a verification" ... Say we were at a party. I chose not to.

I chatted with one of them back and fourth and he admitted none of his verifications were real. One of which was a couple.

With regards to webcams? There is software out there where you can display a pre-recorded video and pass it off as your own. Easy to grab some video off a porn site. Pick one with low quality footage for added authenticity. Asks people for verifications. Which most would do.

In fact, as crazy as it sounds, there is nothing stopping a man from creating a dozen fake profiles of women and couples all with the idea of directing back verifications to your real profile.

nope there are fake lives pics also on kik , i once spoke to a "couple" but live pics were ultra inconsistent like different clothing, skin tone, hairstyles all within mins of each other! "They" wanted pictures of my girlfriend... got offended when I said no

Maybe converted from male to female? I know the person who completed metamorphosis and instead of putting tg/tv was requesting and amin changed to female by sending the naked photo with the paper saying the profile and website details.

I agree there is only one way to verify who is who.

I am photo-verified as a single woman but if I will decide to change to FF couple there is a procedure: opening a new account or sending mail to admins and get photo-verified again as FF couple.

I don't think this is true, really. There is no way to hack Kik as interfere with it's software.

They're was obviously a few people behind the camera don't you think.

I rely on Kik to determine if someone is real or not

So unless I’m missing something Live Photo’s don’t work either as I could screenshot an image on my iPad etc and then take a photo using my phone camera of that and pretend it’s a Live Photo ?
