Just curious as to what's everyone's go to thing to do on a first meet. I know some people like to meet for coffee or others for food.

My favourite social meet is to go on a walk or hike with the person. Makes any nerves that are there to dissappear and makes both individuals at ease

Let me know what you guys like to do

I too like to lead initial meets into a secluded woodland or mountain like area - nice and lonesome, no one around for miles - not even a phone reception

Oh it's not creepy at all... There's tree limbs for rope.... Bogs for handy digging and disposal....

I mean - It's not like I'd actually DO anything... It's more so "the IMPLICATION", ya feel me bro?

I got a system.

Yeah I'd avoid like the plague anyone wanting to have a first social meet in any sort of seclusion. It would make me wildly uncomfortable and I'd seriously question the motives of anyone suggesting it.

A coffee shop for me. It's neutral, public, and easy to walk away

I like walks.. In public places, I think it can be easier to talk and get each others vibe..

Coffee shops are good too when open lol i wouldn't do drinks as a first meet because I don't make wise decisions after 2 or 3 lol

Definitely a coffee and a walk in a public setting. Possibly drinks when things were more normal!

I don't know if it would be suitable for a first date but a friend on mine when we were in our twenties reckoned that if he was ever going to propose to a woman he'd bring her to the graveyard and his family plot, then ask the classic question... "would ya like to be buried with my people?"

Strangely enough, he's still single

Suggest something dangerous for a first meet; like swimming with sharks. If they say yes you know they're definitely interested.....and possibly crazy

I usually would meet for a coffee somewhere public. In saying that I have done 2 walks for a first meet. It all depends on the person I'm chatting to.

Our last social was a coffee in a lovely park. A walk around the park deflected from the reason we were there, so the nerves disappeared and we had a very open conversation as a result

Apart from coffee, drinks and walks.

A game of pool, mini golf and ice skating are also good solid options. And no, it doesn't have to be a date of any kind. Different activities will add reason to converse and communicate with a new person.

I went as far as Pokemon hunting numerous times with a fellow fabber and we genuinely had a blast.

Coffee, for me. Public place, nobody passes any remarks on two (or three) people sitting having a chat and it's as natural a setting as any to chat and eye each other up. That, and I like coffee.

We have enjoyed a quiet drink in a bar or over a coffee and have also done a social walk which was fun and flirty, and maybe a quick flash
