Define real or fake ? If we all where 100% real on our profiles we would have our names and face pic ? Also the amount of pictures which have been filtered to improve appearance is mad. But yes I get your point in regards to single males pretending to be a couple or even pretending to be female.

Can't be 100% sure that anything is real. I could be the only conscious being that exists and everything I think is the outside world might be just a dream inside my head.

There are ways of spotting fake profiles,but again one never knows who sits behind the keyboard till one meets.

But ultimately if there is any suspicion in your mind their fake , illuminate it by hoping on a video call with them ..this can be done via Snapchat or zoom!

If they don't want to (its like someone not wanting to wear a condom , u won't be protected if you don't cam ) and I find there's 90% chance that they are indeed a catfish if they won't

Nobody is happy to be exposed on cam as we know we look worse

Seriously, live photo or video is the only way to verify its a woman or a man.

I dont send them with face. You can send an audio live message saying hi and person's nickname

There are many options to verify if a couple is only a man who is pretending to be a couple or a woman.

Im photo verified but wont having green circle as I wont meet new people.

A few know me and they are my friends.

Its not that hard .

You can even YouTube a tutorial on how to download and use them.. if ur able to drive a car ,turn on a microwave , use a sky box , I somehow reckon u can use cam ....and if u can't well that also perhaps might eliminate you from being met u for other reasons

Well I don't cam or use zoom and have no issue leaving lights on and the bedsheets are usually on the floor. I prefer to meet a person and have a coffee and see if their real.

Never been an issue. There are lost of issues around zoom etc being recorded and used against people so I'd never expect anyone to cam unless we knew each other well.

New technologies = new challenges and if we want to keep our privacy a normal chit chat via zoom or whatsup is nothing wrong. I wouldnt go with a naughty talk with a lady I dont know. Op just to get back to your question....if you're on Android you can easily check if a photo is taken from another site

Just press on the picture until an option comes up to check it with Google photos or Google lens

This can help out some pictures robbed from porn sites which is a start
