One of those nights, woke at 2am and couldn't go back to sleep.... I'll be like a bear today..

I finished a month of night shifts at the weekend. I'm up since 4. Went for a run at 5am. Off for the week though so can relax

I was prescribed it for a month and told if it didn't work in that time it never would.

It didn't do I haven't taken it since. No idea about long term effects but as it's designed to replace or top up the melatonin created naturally by your body I'd guess it should be ok but don't take my word for it

Magnesium levels might be low if finding it hard to sleep ..l find that a few hours sleep do me anyway...5/6 hours is loads for me

Apparently boffins have changed their minds and now say that 7 hours a night is the new normal for adequate sleep
