Is anyone getting fed up of topping up their gas meter? We used the 100€ emergency credit during the first lockdown and its currently at €135 in debt. Put €15 on it earlier and was given €6 to use. We're on a very low income. I know we have to pay it back but they shouldn't be allowed to take so much off you in one go

Is there another service you could use? I don't think the top up is very good, it's known for being a rip off unfortunately

Top up electricity and gas is more expensive than a regular bill. It doesn't save money. Unless you're a landlord you shouldn't really get it installed.

Contact your supplier and ask if they can arrange it that instead of taking half of the top up they take a bit less?
