anyone have a problem with dishwashers that the big dinner plates when placed on bottom rack keep catching on thing that spins round?

I was able to do it with mine as I had the same problem, but it could depend on make and model. Have you the manual? It might show if it's possible

My dishwasher, and the previous couple, have had two sets of rails/runners for the top tray. I'd be surprised if yours didn't also have some ability to be raised.

Alternatively, stop using the lids of barrels as plates

Fecking dishwasher broke down at the weekend.

The company doesn't have any service engineers available during the lockdown and it might be obsolete anyway according to them

It's 5 yrs old ffs

I have the same problem with Hob Nobs.

I generally bite a small piece of it first, then it fits into the cup no problemo
