Random chat thread about anything you wish to chat about or rant about. My rant for today is in the name of god what has it come to when one can't even buy clothes lol. Be nice or naughty but once it's kind and considerate.

Ah, love a good rant. I've not got much to add at the minute, but over the past few days restrictions are starting to get to me. Same boring work routine every day within the same 4 walls.

I do also need to buy shoes for an upcoming wedding and haven't got much options

It seems naturism is becoming mainstream. The minister said "clothes aren't essential"

Yes it's so frustrating online shopping is not great because most of the time sizing is the problem. Then the hassle of returning through postage so much money can wasted.

Somewhere in Co. Down

Today was a lot better than the real crappy day yesterday even though good friends helped me a lot more than they realise.

But today was a lot better so all is good and hopefully tomorrow will be even better.

Where the Streets Have No Name

There's was an ad on telly Today for a UK lawfirm. Basically the message being that 'medical negligence is the worst kind of negligence!' I felt a bit sick. All of those Doctors, Consultants, Surgeons, nurses that were so dedicated & diligent in getting their qualifications (who are now actually putting themselves/loved ones at risk caring for the public) have to worry about 'making a mistake' in case some medical card holding, school quitting, free house recieving individual with a long standing sense of entitlement calls one of these Solicitors firms with a view to being massively compensated because someone 'made a mistake' at work.

The whole tone of the ad was disgraceful: 'Those bastard healthcare workers. We'll show them. We'll get you justice! We'll get you the dosh!'

Can't abide the claim culture.

Ok rant over. Thanks for this OP. This has been useful

OK now am lost don't know what provider/channel that is i only have saor view and Netflix lol. Anyway don't regular lawyers cover medical suits anyway. Is'nt the firm just making a business from it as an official specific area of law. I don't know but i think people wouldn't sue in this manner unless they have a very good reason to so i would imagine ? Are people not entitled to sue regardless of whom they sue with if they lost a loved one due to a "mistake" of medical professionals just like any other professionals?

clothes sent essential but try walking up Kildare St without any & see how far you get.

Has to be a good defense if the minister said clothes aren't essential would love to see the judges face if that was brought up as a defense. The government said it so it must be true

HA HA HA HA HA HA

just like there election promise's
