I'd be very careful with these apps for storing sensitive stuff. They are a treasure trove for hackers so they are specifically targeted. The best way is to use removable storage which you can physically unplug and keep in a safe place. I dont keep very sensitive stuff in the cloud or on my phone.

Yeah its putting a lot of trust in a 3rd parties ability to secure their system properly. It's like a hackers wet dream with all the good shit in 1 place so get in one place and you get everything

On Android you can just hide the image and it gets moved to a hidden collection

+1 I've seen many women exposed as "sluts" on porn sites.. Accounts hacked their sexy pics and real names even fb accounts posted for all to see.. Best advice would be not to store any pics but if you do its at your own peril.. No app is safe from being hacked.. Just take a look at the fappening

Personally any app you are getting for free ain’t trustworthy and I would not store ant sensitive items there.

Most secure....off line on a storage device in a password protected folder ( I know bit of a pain when you just want to send a photo)

I have a basic Asus app called File Manager, which happens to have a Hidden Folder. It's not cloud enabled, just a hidden folder on my phone itself. I've used it for years, on several different phones, with absolutely no issues.

"Brilliant app called calculator which does what it says on the tin but is also a storage vault for pics etc"

Thanks i tried this once before but wasn't up with technology on apps just uploaded it and it couldn't be easier. I don't trust Google storing things it can pop up anywhere from device to device. I must have some settings on because my searching data is coming up on my tablet aswell even though i have not used it for searching certain things dodgy incase someone else may use it.

If you are signed into your Google account, Google searches will be saved. So when you search on a different device it will pop up. User friendly but kinky unfriendly.

For anything sensitive....use Duck Duck Go or Quant browsers with private browsing

You can create folders in your gallery and hide them. That's what I do. Then just unhide if you want to see them or add photos.

Two options here -

1. On Chrome, use an incognito window / tab to search anything rude that you don't want stored in your search history. Just tap the three dots at top right of your browser window, then tap 'new incognito tab'. This tab won't be logged into your Google account, so the search history won't populate across your account (and therefore your devices)

2. The easier option - download a second Web browser like Firefox or Internet Explorer to use for secret searching and browsing. If that app asks you to log in, don't use your Google account, create a separate login, or don't log in at all!

(Note - neither of these will stop Android saving your search history, it will just stop it being saved to your Google account and popping up on all your different devices)

Yep it is, there's hundreds of apps called File Manager to be fair, just choose a Google recommend one or a highly rated one at least.

If you're on android but not Samsung you can use Island app to duplicate the knox folder. This creates a sandbox environment password/fingerprint protected version of your phone where you can even install apps you normally wouldn't want visible. All images etc are behind whatever security you chose to use. Everything is on your phone not in a cloud and the visibility of the entire secure area can be turned on/off at the press of a button. Essentially it's like a second version of your phone behind pin code.

If you use Samsung you can install this too but it just replicates secure folder on any case.

Its a only me option! Meaning only me can see, explanation of this really does things to ones mind,
