Guess The Score II

Just a continuation from the last thread; given there was only one post until it maxed out I thought I'd post the new leaderboard in a new one!

I'll post the rules just in case any newcomers want to join in

It's 3 points for a correct score and result, 1 point for a correct result and zero for getting it completely wrong.

So for example if it was Liverpool vs Leeds, and Liverpool won 2-0, you would get three points for guessing that or one point if you predicted they'd win by any other score!

Fixtures will be posted in the thread on Wednesdays and those joining in can copy and paste them into a message along with their predictions.

On Fridays I'll post my own predictions on the thread just for transparency and an updated leaderboard is posted on Mondays

The mentioning of a 'wildcard' gave me an idea to be fair!

I think we'll stick with double points every tenth week; keeps everyone competitive I think!

From this week on though, along with the normal eight fixtures, everyone will be allowed to select ONE additional fixture of their own to include in their predictions.

Think Chorley v Derby will be off as outbreak of COVID at Derby, either that or it will be a youth team playing

Is the FA Cup winner on the day I.e. extra time & penalties or are there replays this year? If so what are rules - score after 90 mins, after extra time, discount penalties??

There's no replays this season I believe so as per normal rules with regards Cup fixtures the score after 90 minutes is what will count!

You can of course predict a winner via extra time or penalties but it's much safer to just stick with a draw if you reckon it'll go that far!

I'll start a new thread in a wee while as I'll have to post my own predictions on Friday and don't want the rest to miss out if it slips out of sight!
