Work in hospitality and with the restrictions possible going into January I'm finding motivation hard . Any advice help peeps can offer to keep going

Yeah tried the hobbie in the first lock down. I'm trying to keep busy and find it hard . I find me and the sofa are closer then me and any relationship I've had ??

As already mentioned, Ohpee, we can only take things one day at a time. Think of it more as one day closer to normality rather than another day of lockdown

Setting and keeping a daily routine can help both body and mind; be it setting small or big tasks for yourself! Physically writing it down even so that if you forget or don't manage something one day, you have something tangible to refer to and use to remind yourself the next day.

I've personally been exercising a lot more the past while; walking and running every morning and evening. It may sound silly, perhaps childish, but having something tangible like a whiteboard or a wall calender that you're able to physically tick off or put a sticker on once you've done your exercise can really help! Seeing a blank spot in the middle of the week can definitely motivate you to not have it there again!

I listen to podcasts when I go out and exercise too. Saving episodes to listen to solely for when I go out so I have something to look forward to!

Also, don't be afraid to embrace all your emotions, Ohpee. It's OK to feel a bit "meh" now and then, especially nowadays, it's only natural. Understanding your feelings is as important as anything. Little things like above be it a 'tick' on your whiteboard for getting a walk in that day can help promote positive, feel good, thoughts

Can understand your situation , everyone hits or meets the motivation mode somewhere along the line ,..the only advice l could be in anyway qualified to give is to find something you always would have loved to do but never got around to it or felt it was beyond you , whatever it is , wether you wanted to learn to play a musical instrument..or go do an online course of your preference ..or adjust your daily habits away from monotony as in instead of the couch being your first port of call go for a walk etc..and last but not least if there's someone you haven't touched base with in a while give 'em a buzz..you'd be amazed how uplifting that would be ..and don't forget what ever it is or how small we all need something to look forward to or to do ..best wishes to you always.
