... ingrowing hairs...

Hi folks,

after some advice on the best ways to free ingrown hairs round the genital region without scarring myself!

Immac'd a couple of weeks back, and about 1/2 dozen hairs decided to go under the skin, agony & itching combined lol.

This for a start, but also as they come to a head there's no harm in getting a small, clean, sharp tweezers and gently freeing the hairs from under the skin. Don't gouge them out, if they can't be teased out leave em!

...cheers ladies. I'm using an exfoliating pad which temporarily releives the itch, but there's 2 big buggers that i'm tempted to go full nuclear on lol.

I've used a sterile needle before to tease them out, but this time they aren't shifting, and i don't want to end up looking like a blood stained surgical sheet!

I used to get them constantly and they really are such a pain but I now get sugared instead of waxing or shaving and have no problem with them. Exfoliation lightly and magnesium cream helps draw them out also

..will defo try the magnesium cream, pop into local chemist tomoz, and not be embarrased if they ask what it's for lol

Nip and fab extreme glycolic pads do wonders to draw them to the surface. Dont use on broken skin though or will sting like a mofo. Theyre also good to prevent them if you use in days after hair removal

I think they sell Nip + Fab in Boots!

Just out and about

I must try sugaring, never had a problem with ingrown hairs up until the last year and now they are a nightmare after waxing

Only upside to lockdown and being single I've embraced the natural look and no ingrown hairs
