........Another Covid thread.

Only messin'

With the state of the world at the moment and the news of another lockdown on the way, things are looking a bit grim so let's take a moment to realize it could be a whole lot worse.

Tell us something you're grateful for right now, no matter how little or insignificant you think it might be.

I'm grateful that I won't be going to bed hungry tonight

My business is about to close again on Wednesday night. I am grateful that what I learned during the first lockdown about myself will now stand to me and get me through the second.

I'm grateful for skincare. I know it's a weird one. But no matter how shitty my day, or how low my mood, sitting down with all of my skincare products at the end of the day, going through each one by one, applying them, massaging my skin almost meditatively... Very few things soothe me as well.

Good on you! It's bloody hard to be a business owner but self belief will definitely play a big part in getting you through!

I'm grateful for good friends I have who are always there for me whether I want to laugh or cry or rant about things. I know they are always there just like I am for them as well.

Any day I can get out of bed, remember who I am, and don't need someone else to wipe my ass is a good one in my book.
