Hi folks, have any of you had an unwanted caller arrive at your house? Had someone who was here years ago arrive to the door saying some shite about looking for a lost dog. How do you deal with something like that?

No cos I live in an apartment so I just wouldn't answer the door unless I was expecting someone haha!

When I stay with my parents my extended family do be calling over all the time and it's a pain in the hole because they can see in so you can't pretend you're not home

Option 2 generally manifests into option 1 after 3 attempts

absolutely no excuse for showing up at someone's door just cause uve met them before.. Be telling them straight out it's not acceptable or appreciated..

It is one of the reasons I only ever have brought people to my home after we have met a few times and I know I can trust them. My home is my safe place not somewhere I want people just turning up when they feel like it.

I've have a friend's who have had a guy turn-up months after they had last met expecting to be allowed in. They also got pretty stroppy when told to leave.
