Hello this is a very niche question which I know won't apply to everyone but feel free to comment anyway . Just wondering if any of my fellow Cds and ts girls are on tinder and whether they experience the same problem as me which is getting banned all the time.

I'm speaking for a friend here.

But yes, she had here account banned a couple of times. Her bio always stated she was a trans woman. But, once someone reports you they don't always check if it's for a genuine reason. She reported a lad one time for Transphobic slurs and it was her account that ended up being banned, crazy!

I would email them and complain, it's not fair. Hope it gets resolved for you!

I presume it's down to transphobia... insecure cis men reporting trans women for impersonation or something equally ridiculous. Awful but can't say I'm surprised, pretty much all social networks / apps have highly transphobic policies.

I've made 3 new accounts at this stage people just because it can really be a great tool to meet new people when you get into a new city. At the start my account would freeze for a few hours and be back online and then I would get banned but the last time I made an account it got banned instantly so now I understood they have banned my IP address. I understand maybe my profile might be a bit explicity but it never showed nudity or anything close. I'm not a trans woman but I feel like it's definitely transphobia right?

I have emailed them every single time with no response. Here's the thing they charged me the next month for my gold subscription also even though my account had been banned a month at that stage.

Absolutely ridiculous, they need to worry about actual predators and fake profiles. I'm suprised there hasn't been a lawsuit over this stuff. They're basically saying trans women aern't women and therefore shouldn't be able to be on the women's side of tinder.

Tinder is self policing. If three or five people report you(I forget the actual amount), you get banned. "support" offer little of that and less infirmation. You violates their terms and conditions. But they can never point to which ones.

They don't really care, they're making money, pure and simple.
