Anyone else struggling with all this covid shite? I am, and I've no problem admitting it. All the joy has been sucked out of life, and it's a real grind to wake up every day lacking motivation, nothing to look forward to or be excited about.

100%, things are tough for a lot of people right now. It's good to talk and be honest about how you feel.

I can totally relate to having that 'when will this all end feeling'

To be honest I think this week was a real hard week to get through...I posted on another thread that it was hard enough even trying to get out of bdd yesterday

I think the whole Sunday night leak about going into phase 5 and then over 1000 cases tonight is getting to everyone.

Just remember it will come to an end eventually and make sure you have someone to talk to in the meantime

Even if its only on here....its good to talk and people will listen and offer advide

it's definitely been tough ! I'm trying to just keep to a routine as much as can which works well mon/Friday.

It's tougher on weekends as I'm usually fairly active with swimming/hiking so I miss that.

Chin up mister x

Things are definitely getting tougher, especially as the weather gets worse. I'm just trying to roll with it and be gentle with myself, not expect too much, and stay in touch with people.

Absolutely. You're not alone.

I've found that it's really fucked with my confidence. I tried to take new pictures the other night and just could not feel sexy at all, which is really unlike me. I'm worried about it. It's like I've lost that side of myself.

I'm lucky that I see my family quite a lot, but I know so many people who hardly see anyone at all these days between working from home and not being able to travel. It's very very hard.

And just generally feeling anxious about the future. Constantly hearing the numbers go up everyday is scary. And all of the things we take for granted are completely unknown now. Is my kid gonna get any kind of Halloween? What will Christmas be like? When is this going to end?

I have no advise for you. But just know that you're definitely not alone.

I think a lot of us feel mentally drained at the moment. All these partial lockdowns and restrictions don't help . Everyday wondering as the numbers rise am I going to be closed again and unable to work. All we can do is keep going chat to friends and family and hope that this soon passes.

With you there OP. Has not been easy for anyone. Had some personal struggles too but i spoke with a couple of friends & one recommended i should flip my way of thinking.

Instead of focusing on this issue, i reflected on all the people in my life, things i can still do etc & created a gratitude journal.

Its literally lifted me outta the dark so many times this year.

Wishing you the best fabbers!

The only thing you can do is take one day at a time and try to control only what you can control.

It's a balance between trying to stay informed but at the same time, not losing your mind or despairing when you are tuned into the news.

I think that from now on, a good thing to do would be to get outdoors as much as you can and away from all the bollocks. Just limit your exposure to it. If you drive, get up into the hills and get walking/hiking as much as possible. Urban environments are kinda shit at the moment and are going downhill and are never gonna be the same again.
