Please leave your ego at the door ...

Hello everyone ..just two general light hearted run of the mill questions

1....has anyone ,ever on a meet..an after a meet conversation...or any communication.. personally ,( without saying so at the time ) had their own personal ego damaged ...now when l say " ego " ..l mean their confidence or well being .. and how did you feel or react ?..

2... has anyone here ever been put off meeting someone simply because they've seen who they've been with before ..eg...a lady might be interested in meeting a certain guy but when she sees he's after been with a " miss universe " type lady she retracts her Interest as she may feel she don't carry the same physical shape and therefore may fear rejection ..

...as l've said they're only general type questions about different situations...be interesting to see people's thoughts ..

I don't bother with taking offence at things people say, and I don't compare myself with other women. We're all bringing something different to the table

Your questions are too broad as everyone has had their confidence knocked at some point and that in turn would dictate the answer to question 2.

I don’t think I’ve much of an ego so no to that I guess. As to having confidence knocked by a meet from here, I’d say no to that as well. It’s ships in the night at the end of the day.

I don’t compare myself to others on here! If I did I’d never have any fun!!

I'm a happy camper

I'm comfortable with who I am and not that invested in myself to have an "ego" of sorts. What you see is what you get!

Also, if I'm chatting to someone on here or meeting them then I know that they're wanting to chat to and meet with me so why worry about anything or anyone else!

My ego is fat enough to slice away besides there's plenty of supply. If there's a smell of drama I just move on or on the other hand if I want something I pursue.

1. Yeah. My ego's been damaged about a gazillion times both here and in my day to day life. But thanks to copious amounts of therapy I've realised that I can't look for validation from other people and that my ego is just based in fear.

2. No I don't think I've ever let previous partners put me off a meet of talking to someone. But I know that if I had joined fab when I was younger I definitely would have.

I don't have much an ego but I have been knocked down once or twice.

I've been rejected but I've also rejected people. We're not always someone's type nor are they ours, it's just how things are. I always just try to be polite as possible, as I know some people are insecure as is

1. Yes. Not my ego per se, but I've been left feeling humiliated quite recently. How did it make me feel? Ridiculed. Worthless. Subhuman. Ugly. Shame. Hurt.

2. For the most part no but perhaps in very exceptional circumstances

To answer q.2 I would say yes. If I see a man has been with loads of really thin women it puts me off. If I see a mix then I don't mind.

Although, on another point, I am usually put off by pics of men having sex with other women. For me, I don't want to be reminded of where he has been before ??

Definitely number 1; I've had a few meets where I was interested but afterwards the lady politely let me know she wasn't interested. It's a bit of a gunk, but no point throwing the toys out of the pram, I just thanked them for meeting me & for their honesty & moved on.

As to 2 - no, not really, I don't usually look at verifications.
