Tipperary

And its future. Do you see us entering a second lockdown or is it not a possibility financially for the economy and its future.

East / North, Cork

Another lockdown is very likely on a county by county basis.

I honestly think it's all a mess at this stage. I know this won't be a popular opinion. But I suspect we're just trading one number of deaths for another. I personally know three people waiting for cancer tests that they can't get and I had a clot on my lung a month ago but nobody would see me until I had a bloody covid test. It would be funny if it wasn't so scary to live through.

Agree with _adylace far too many essential services being put on hold over covid I think the government really need to upgrade the health system as a whole they had 6 months to get a plan in place before the 2nd wave hit in the winter months but so far no solutions

Doubt a full lockdown but certainly more restrictions will be on the cards county by county before Christmas

I must have been very lucky, have been having ongoing biopsies and surgery for suspected cancer, the hospital and staff have been fantastic, and it started during the first lockdown, not a private patient either

Don't think it will happen, the main problem is in dundalk nd that's coming from the North, that's why they are looking at just closing town nd cities rather than the full county,,, well i hope they do it that way

Well I'm in Annagassan and I can héar the pub from my house. You can hardly drive down the street with the number of cars outside it. Very frustrating.

Looking from outside i see there's a big poster on the railings of UHL regional we are hiring so id say the wheels are turning to get the required levels of staff in to run services along side covid services

But that's me assuming a lot

I'd say with all the students going back to school/college, many of them being careless, I'd say it's a question of when will it happen

How many died since early August?

How many people, jobs, businesses and lives screwed?

Was in Dublin today and it was terrible to see and hear about stories of gloom.... But not about corona deaths though.

Totally agree, they have had long enough to get things sorted and have some level of normalcy back in health care system, too many people will suffer long-term from other illnesses missed.

Government are not fit for purpose.

there is more care for animals and traceability in this country than humans.all cattle are tested every year.if not farmer is put in jail..dept of agri knows where every animal is as they have dept of agri cctv watching them from a satalite....hse dont test every person in the country every year.they dont know the exact amount of people in the country.wheres the traceability.it looks like the tds and hse want this covid to spread..
