Yep. Recent enough - in the last 5 years. Made me the happiest girl in the world and then sbsolutely tore my heart to shreds and stomped all over it. A lot of very valuable lessons learned so I've no regrets. Now occasionally tries to get back in touch and I just reblock him.

My first love was my childhood sweetheart from toddler until about age 12 or 13. We lost touch as I moved to Ireland with my parents.

He appeared back in my life 29 years later, and it was as though we had never been apart! He is my soulmate, I am still in contact with him though we could not be a couple for a lot of different reasons - lack of want nor love not being one of those! He actually wrote what was our heartbreaking love story well ahead of its time as a diary in the late 90s, early 2000s, only for what he wrote to become our reality 15 or 16 years later!

A story too unbelievable to believe, but I have seen his battered diaries in his handwriting and have the book (as he transcribed those diaries to be printed for me as a birthday present) to prove it...and have lived the story as it was written by him years previous...

Yes I actually do

It was about 14 years ago

Never got back in touch and to be honest I'm not sure if I do

Yes I would most certainly recognise her

The only regret I have from that relationship was I should have been less quiet altho 14 years on I can still be a quiet feck

We defo don't keep in touch, things ended on bad terms (he reckoned I owed him 10k for the things he paid for / bought me over the 5 years we were together - as in, he actually asked me for it!!!) I've seen him since at a couple of family funerals of mutual friends, we were civil enough. No regrets really, it wasn't a great relationship but I learned some lessons!

I was 20. We were together a year then broke up. No bad feelings towards him it was a life lesson as most things are really. Met him again a few years ago when out one night we'd a good laugh about the good old days he did ask to meet again but the past is better left in the past.

3 years ago now, she was essentially the only good thing in my terrible life. I only woke up when I knew I could text or see her. I would be lying if I said I haven't found anyone even close to her again.

What happened was, I was dealing with depression at the time and I was just getting worse and worse, I somewhat envied her recent success. I was nearly going to go sleep with someone but i stopped and told her about it.

The amazing person she was, she was willing to forgive me but deep down I think I did it just for us to fall apart.

Sometimes I hope like before that we will just find each other again but I'll never know. She still haunts my dreams.
