Men's pubic hair

After seeing so many ungodly bushes around phaluses...

Guys/boys/men, do you honestly think that not at least trimming your pubic hair is a good practice?

Do you think a big bush looks attractive?

If you are a regular trimmer but have photos of a big bush - Why not just take photos when that horrible huge bush is gone?

Some people are into au natural look, yes, but it just so happens to be that 98% of men are into smooth shaved women and have the scraggliest bushiest crotches which they present combined with reddish bits.

Bonus points when they're crusty

I'd never put someone through that ... but I will say it was as bad if not worse for dudes/dudettes pre Sex in the City days

I mean you can stay on the bush perimeter with even a sub average chopper whereas diving the muffy Sea requires full submersion if you will

I always shave. Both feels better and looks better. I'll sometimes leave it at stubble height but that's it.

I think it's more hygienic and presentable. I'd hate to be eating out a girl and get s mouthful of hair.

Never wax downtown but quick shave in shower every second day or so allows you to keep on top of the maintenance work without hassle..

Can't see how someone could honestly expect another person to put their face anywhere near a big hairy bush..

Mr here. I don't wax but do shave most days as it makes the job so much easier.

Mel is totally smooth and I cringe when we meet a couple where female is smooth only to find out the male half couldn't be arsed to do the same. Needless to say it doesn't proceed lol

I've a preference for a light trim, but it's up to the lady and how she feels comfortable with her body. So, I don't 'expect' a woman to be a certain way. I keep myself trimmed but not so bald that it looks like the last turkey in the butchers on Xmas eve.

I wax. I used to get it done at the local beauty academy as a "model" but then bought my own wax pot and have been doing it myself ever since. Sugaring is something I've been meaning to try too. It's getting motivated to cook the sugar that I just haven't got around to yet

I was a guinea pig for a colleague learning sugaring once. She did my chest. It was torture. I had a very adverse skin reaction after. Luckily it was a medical spa and the doctor treated it immediately.

What was worse for me personally, is that my nipples are veeeery sensitive and I found out that my chest hair protects me from very uncomfortable situations. That didn't take long to be even worse than the sugaring.

I trim the bush and shave the bits regularly though. As it says in the bible....do on to others etc etc

I'd love to see how this would have panned out if a bloke had posted the same thread about women.

Do we prefer trimmed? Yep. Are we going to rip the arse out of those who choose a natural bush? Nope. We'll just discount and accept that person isn't for us. As for the inferences that it's dirty or smelly to have pubic hair? How silly. If someone wants to keep it au natural in their nether regions that's their business. No need to shame anyone for that choice.

But why does hair have to equate to poor hygiene? My teenage daughter doesn't shave anywhere. She has hairy armpits, hairy legs and pubic hair. She has taken dogs abuse because she refuses to conform to some false idealistic notion that women should be as hair free as the day they were born. I fully support her decision to exercise that right and it makes her no less hygienic. The suggestion that not trimming or shaving one's pubic hair is somehow dirty is just another falsehood plied onto youngsters and further adds to the pressure to conform, and shames them when they don't. I'd much rather they were taught acceptance of themselves and of others who make different choices

Hair growth and myself never really had a big connection... i guess I'm just one of the few men who has very little body hair genetically... lucky for me i prefer it that way and keep myself shaved/smooth mostly.

Hate the idea of hair on myself or a lady when meeting unless nicely trimmed... plus makes for a great slip n'slide game for your tongue

Each to their own, all sorts of preferences on this site... however hair/ big bush would be a huge turn off for me.

But agree with OP, if you're looking for a certain thing off your meet and then have the opposite yourself.. you're going to be seen to have double standards..

Try using coconut oil for shaving and avoid using a harsh soap immediately after you shave.

Give Veet cream a try too, if your skin is not too sensitive.

I get waxed every six weeks

I prefer it because of my work it feels more comfortable and i feel fresher

With regards to Hygiene,we're human our genitalia are hairy once we reach adulthood so a shower before a meet is just good manners

It's different for a couple living together jumping into bed at the end of a day but if I'm in a hotel with someone I'd have a shower before any play time just to freshen up

I think an issue for Irish men is that we are compared a lot against Uk men when it comes to body image. Most men you see on tv are British, shows like, naked attraction, Geordie Shore, Love Island, Celebrity Jungle etc which have alot of flesh on show. Male grooming is a big thing in the uk, waxing, sun beds, they have dedicated male saloons, that nobody has a problem with. Lads will get a hair cut and body wax, it’s the norm.

We Irish are naturally pale skinned and hairy. Male grooming i.e body waxing, sun beds is not a thing here in Ireland for men. You won’t get a guy walking into the local beauty saloon for a back, sack and crack in Mayo.

Us hairy Irish men are built for the wild, like a wolf, and should be proud of our body hair. We don’t need no scissors.

I honestly can't imagine myself with a full bush. Not because of porn. Because long hair make it really itchy down there.

I let it grow for 2 weeks once so I could get it waxed - never again. Spent a second week scratching myself all the time as prickly hairs were all over the place.

I never said that a full bush is unhygenic.

It's just unsightly and unpleasant (to wear as well as to be near one)

The hyprocrisy is there. Men seem to demand shaven clits, while the Ladies have to find the cock in the undergrowth. I always trim to the point it looks shaven, before a meet. A little courtesy. I don't want my Ladies pulling pubic hair out from their teeth at breakfast time.

It honestly depends on the person really. I knew someone who was totally natural but he had lovely, soft pubic hair and it didn't interfere with oral either. There was a programme on during the week on channel 4 of course called 'bring back the bush' 4 women let it grow for 4 weeks, I think one women was a model and lost out work because of it, some doctor also said it is more hygienic to have a bush because it gives a layer between the genitals and the underwear

I'm sure they don't have to if they don't want to

I only go to salons that advertise it so even then not all the women work on men

I was in a long-term relationship with someone who liked me to be totally natural and not even trim. These days I tend to trim very short.

Out of consideration if I was chatting to someone on here about meeting and they had a strong preference I would probably accommodate that, but no-one has the right to demand anyone does anything with their bodies. I've been to bed with women who are totally waxed from the neck down and women who don't shave or wax anywhere - it's never been an issue for me.

Surely they can't just pick and choose the clients they are willing to work on? If the service is advertised

one salon has 4 women working there but only 2 take appointments from men

But only 25 % of their clients are men

In fairness most salons dont provide a service for men but its a professional service and I'd imagine as the women leave and get replaced..the owner would replace them with people who will wax men

The salon only started the service 4 yrs ago as they were asked so often so you can't force staff to do something new in fairness

The other place i go is just one woman with a room and 50% of her clients are men getting Brazilian waxes

"I'd love to see how this would have panned out if a bloke had posted the same thread about women.

Nice to see an educated non shaming, non double standard response. Very relevant opening line. Good for you

"After seeing so many ungodly bushes around phaluses...

Rant over "

Is that not body shaming? Bit unfair to say ungodly bushes when in fairness it's the natural body and in some people's eyes, what god gave you. No need for this thread and everyone should be allowed to have their bodies how they wish without being ridiculed on a public forum.

"Do ANY men wax?

I’ve spoken with guys who find any pubic hair on women to be repulsive but wouldn’t never consider being waxed themselves. "

I tried a few times and it's pretty good. I got circumsised when ai was 18 and it made the skin near my base come up..ruined my perfect dick. So now I can shave as it could hurt the lady...so I must wax or most likely due to less mess...Tweeze. god I wish I could shave feck

You very obviously have a personal problem with me and I'm okay with that even though I don't know who you are.

It happens too often of fab. Some random profile popps up out of the blue and starts preaching from their oh so high moral ground then disappears into nowhere.

I see well too familiar pattern in your behaviour, so this will be my first and last reply to you

Huh?! I've no idea who you are, just gave my opinion that you were body shaming the natural body of a man, as did others in this thread but you have chosen to get personal with me?! I am not a random profile nor will i be disappearing nor was I preaching, i gave my opinion so please don't presume things. By that response i have decided I also won't be interqcting with you as it comes across you are on your high horse a little and unable to see or listen to another point of view in a public forum.
