I know it's late timing with the football returning tomorrow but I've always wanted to see if it was possible to run this kinda thing on the forum

Simply put how many would be interested in a season long competition of predicting results/scores of, say, eight matches each week? Throughout the major European leagues.

I would put the fixtures in the thread and those joining in can copy and paste them into a message with their predictions.

It would 3 points for a correct score and result, 1 point for a correct result and zero for getting it completely wrong

So for example if it was Liverpool vs Leeds, and Liverpool won 2-0, you would get three points for guessing that or one point if you predicted they'd win by any other score!

I'd post an updated leaderboard alongside the next week's fixtures.

Obviously only if there's enough interest but hopefully just a chance for a bit of craic and some fun to look forward to each week

We'll go ahead with it for next week, I'll post the fixtures on this thread Thursday evening.

It will cost me countless points throughout the season but I'll very rarely back United or Liverpool to win. I'm prepared to make that petty sacrifice

No they were on a downward spiral before that. Season before was the PSG comeback.

Barca has been poorly run for too long and is a shambles. Real is full of has beens.

It was a hard watch tbh

I just personally cant stand Real, horrible fan base and Zidane, even though he was such a great player, he's a tosser of a coach
