So to recap:

- We're in the grip of a global pandemic

- Maybe worse is the promise of an oncoming recession, the likes of which even WE haven't seen yet.

- Global wildlife populations have fallen nearly 70% in the last 50 years.

- Trump is... Well... Words fail me... But he's led to an alarming resurgence of fascism and white supremacy. At the very least.

- Annnnddd the world is on fire. With temperatures around the globe hitting record and alarming highs.

- We look to be facing into a hard Brexit.

Anyone any good news?

I suppose the only hope is that so many game changing, catastrophic events somehow spur a global wake up call and we unify the face these threats...

I remember hearing about a study saying that if some small % may 4- 8% say (that wasn't the number) of people in a town or city began meditation the overall crime/violence rate in that city dropped

The takeaway was that it only takes a relatively small number of people to change to bring the rest or a large mass on side, the study wasn't about meditation per se

Either that or some type of post apocalyptic society for the survivers in the next 100 years!

Had a good laugh last night playing the card game "Spit" with my youngest, her speed is mesmerising, all I could do was watch like a rabbit in the headlights as she wiped the floor with first me and then her older brother
