Life advice or mottos

So what would be everyone's life advice? Or a motto they try to live by ? I'd recommend people to start saving in their teens and learn to drive as soon as possible even if they cant afford a car yet. Life motto would be a simple buckle down and hang on ,be tough.

Not so much of a saying, but a great piece of advice I heard afew years ago was to speak to yourself (internally) with the same kindness and compassion that you would speak to a friend, be your own best friend first
