Just curious to know if when travelling to Clifton via a visit to his large expensive pad on the grounds of the k club . Did pompous mr hogan just get a caution for using his mobile when driving .on law for the people another for big thick twats like him .

Irelands politics is rotten to the core ...senators judges .etc can do what they like .

At the risk of throwing a spanner in the works here guys...but....this guy is doing a lot of our negotiations with the brits re....Brexit..remember that? Yes, agree..he was wrong, but see the bigger picture, I want this guy, we need this guy in there fighting for us....not some bureaucrat from France who couldnt care less about our beautiful island. IMO, he stays in the job...12 weeks of negotiations left, disaster to replace him at this stage with a non irish negotiator. Listening to the Boyd Barretts this morning...just want resignations, without seeing the more important bigger picture

I have to agree with you there. I actually think he is good at his job. It would be crazy to get rid of him now. We could lose a lot more than we will gain. At least we have solid representation on the front line of the Brexit negotiations.

Wow, I can't believe so many intelligent people are getting sucked into this media witch hunt! Lol

He was stopped, got a ticket like any of us would have? (Where or how expensive his pad is, is irrelevant)

They were at a function that had 80 people at it. Wow let's give them 10yrs behind bars hey

If it was me, I'd have assumed the venue would have had the proper guildlines in place?

Yes, maybe they should have known better but should it bring a government down? Just saying

Maybe not, but if the people setting the rules can't play by the rules then not really fit to govern.

He didn't get a ticket or 3 points or a fine

He got a caution....thats it

He's an arrogant prick who's job stops him fighting on Irelands behalf and he's even explained that himself.

3 weeks ago he tried to get a bigger ( more well paid ) job with the W.H.O and when it was put to him that we needed him in Brussels he said other people could do just as good a job if he left

He's lied everyday about his wearabouts until he gets caught and then changes his story

He paid cash €450,000 for an apartment in January that's why he wants to keep his job to stay on the gravy train

I'd be happy if he gets fined. It's up to Brussels to take it further. I'd like to think he is fighting for a deal for Ireland. Time will tell. Remember he ran off to Brussels when water charges and property taxes were hot issues here

Using a mobile for driving ?

Breaking lockdown rules in kildare ?

Or insulting the people who have sacrificed so much .example..no able to be with their loved ones as they died alone . People who have lost everything

Children who missed their exams confirmation communion .

If his political antenna is so skewed that he thinks he can use a phone whilst driving and attend an event halfway across the country, I don't want him deciding what's good for us.

He's a selfish prick and he doesn't give a flying cowshit about the Irish people, quite contrary he's shown his contempt more than once. If you believe that he's a good negotiator for this country out there in Brussels you must be either part of the gang yourself or you have a rather unworldly and naive outlook.

Except he's not good at his job

Ignore the covid part for just a minute

He's an ignorant bollox who left his advisor fall under the bus when pictures came out of the 2 of them cuddling

He made a complete bollox of water charges and couldn't wait to get to Europe to make the big bucks

He actually tried to leave his job a month ago to take another job on higher money

He actually said that he was easily replaceable if he got the other job

Then he couldn't get an interview for the other job but now he's irreplaceable...my arse

I actually think the thing that might bring him down is not that he broke the rules in Ireland bit that he broke the rules in Brussels

He was not allowed travel to kildare according to their rules and that might be what the commission catch him on
