Hey! Just wondering what’s your favorite Dublin bar?

Doesn’t have to have a swing aspect (Sophie’s) just curious

Enter the powers court centre from grafton st..

When you come out on the street running parallel to grafton look to your left and theres s pub on the corner of the side street that runs to the back entrance of the indoor market.

Always enjoyed a pint there being able to sit out side...a very good dark skinned busker used to play in the vacinity..

"I miss being outside Fagens after a Dublin match. But south William street on a day like this would be unreal "

Jaysus, Fagans after a match. Showing my age now, but if I remember rightly, hadn't Fagans a male only bar in the late 80's /early 90's?

Same period but different reasons, used to like Slatterys. Not trendy, but did doorstep sandwiches (yum!) and had a very eclectic mix of people.

Went there recently in a visiting the old haunts of yesteryear and couldn't believe that it was all trendied up! "Down with that sort of thing"!

Tried the south side cool pubs, but just never felt Irish, or goth, or cool or alternative Enough! So preferred the merging, who knows who you'll end up talking to pubs.

Good thread resurrection. Nice memories. Remember not having a lift home and ending up at a party of a Grafton street based metallic mime!

Fun times! If only me mammy knew!
