Online chat is terrible, trying to make conversation with someone you've never met.. After a few messages it's just boring. If there's attraction ask to meet ASAP, constant banal messages suck the life and attraction out of any interaction

I don't even bother with polite small talk.

If one has nothing to say I'll be the one who says nothing at all.

I'm much happier to find one person every few months who I genuinely get along with than have 79 identical "How are you, how's lockdown" conversations.
