This was my favourite movie as a kid, and I've recent rewatched it. It brought back so many Nostalgic memories, and it definitely holds up.

What's a movie you love that brings back some nostalgia?

This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I’m talkin’ to whoever’s listenin’ out there.

Too many 80's classics to pick a favourite.

Not a Christmas movie dude, just Christmas in the movie.

Film was released in summer if I recall.

Fantastic choice!

Loved Big Trouble in Little China, and like you watched it again recently.

Same sort of era stuff that are enjoyable are Stir Crazy, Commando and the original Predator. Would give Beverly Hills Cop an honorable mention too, even though I’m not an Eddie Murphy fan.

I love that film, it blew my mind when I was younger

My ultimate childhood film was Top Gun, absolutely loved it and have had a fascination with military aircraft ever since. Cant wait for the next one to come out

For me has to be 'Stand By Me', always brings back nostalgic memories of when I used to pal around with lads of all differant back grounds and how we've all gone our separate ways now.

Yep, same here. Became Top Gun obsessed. Nearly jizzed in my pants when USS JFK came to Ireland, went to all the static air shows and then they did a flyover of a few towns, it was epic.

Managed to get on which was great but even better was a helicopter flight from Sandymount over it

As near as the no fly zone allowed for..that really showed the scale of it

Lol, I got on as well, it some impressive piece of engineering. I couldn’t get over the size of the fighter jets alone not to mention the ship. I was expecting them to be relatively small so to be so nimble and fast.

Belfast

The original Star Wars for a number of reasons. I was 11 when it first came out.

It was so completely different to anything I'd ever seen before at the cinema.

I also watched it in 4D generations before such a thing was ever talked about.

The cinema was so old and tatty(a proper fleapit) that part of it was roped off for health and safety reasons and every time there was a laser blast or explosion on screen a lump of ceiling plaster landed on the seats in front of me. A truly immersive experience

I'll stick to the hiking, kayaking ,cycling and waterskiing young man. That skateboarding sounds too energetic.
