So I've found myself literally feeling and noticing the change in my own sexual evolution lately!

Unsure if partly due to lockdown previously.. also understand that we all continue develop more strongly as we get older too!

I'm enjoying it, but find it strange I'm so mentally aware of it all of a sudden!

Im looking forward to see which Pokemon i evolve into lol (unlikely snorlax going by last night) -geek mode, dont judge lol

So my question to you all is... when did you first come to have your first real sexual development period.. i dont mean getting into kink as I've been at that for a while... but that sudden large leap of bravery and curiosity to really explore?

Its quite a new feeling to me, so im oh so curious on yer views?

A few months before my 50th birthday and it wasn't an evolution because that suggests a slow process.

Three years ago after my separation. I had being quoted as saying when I was married that I would happily go a lifetime without having sex again as I hated having it with my ex. I thought that it was because I had a low libido turns out its quite the opposite! I joined Fetlife as I was curious to know about the kinkier side of me and that lead me here. Speaking from experience don't follow anyone's path because you'll find yourself in places you don't want to be.

Make your own path and you can get on and off it as you please.

I think there had been different times of emergence where my sexuality evolved. I remember my first proper kiss. I was 16. The sensation of it was incredible and my body felt so alive and turned on. If we hadn't been in public I'd have wanted everything to happen.

As it was I was called a slut the next day because I'd let him put his hand up my top. All of a sudden, something so amazing became something so shameful. It really made an impression.

Then in my 20's I was lucky to be in relationships with loving and sexually adventurous men and I felt very myself sexually. In my 30's I became pregnant and that felt like a sexual evolution in itself. I felt ripe and sexy and amazing. Sadly my partner was furious by the impending addition and left. So I felt shameful again with my swollen belly as evidence of my sexual exploits.

I was celibate for 5 years after that and went into therapy to deal with it.

Now in my 40's a new evolution has begun and the fab lifestyle that I found so challenging initially has and is, facilitating a safe space for my sexual self to emerge and blossom, shame free.

It seems for me to be an ongoing process of ever deepening layers, and ongoing adventures. Learning to say yes to what fits in a shame free way and learning to say no to what doesn't fit, in a guilt free way.

Wow, great insight guys... thanks for sharing!

I for one developed a bit later in teenage years and as such was "slow off the mark" as they say.. but i honestly believe now those times built a real maturity and respect for women as i found myself observing interactions and learning rather than taking it all for granted.

From there i built on that in mid 20s and found my kink nature, which i never rushed and consistently learned from each new experience.. and now as my confidence grows, so is my appetite.. and as of late i can physically feel it in my blood... lets just say im looking forward to my 30s as i think the best is yet to come and I'm in a real stage of enlightenment and anticipation of what potential could be reached!
