near you

Lets say there was an app for fab, that used your bluetooth the very same way,if you were within 50m of eack other it would send you a text informing you a fabber was close by ,would you sign up to it ,could be very interesting going forward

plus the who's near function as someone previously said just because someone is on fab doesn't mean the want to interact with everyone on fab. Can't see it getting much traction OP

Who's near already has similar features...in most cases it shows you who to avoid... too close to home

No way. The nearby feature is enough and after a guy using it to try and find my house I rarely ever switch that on anymore.

"Why would you call it Covid-19 app isn't there already a tracker app for that "

The refference was to the same tec that the covid app uses

Not to calling it the same

So you are out on a night after spending 20 mins in the bar you get a text to say a fabber is close by

The app would not say who both parties would have to confirm they are in said location b4 app would should who is near

Cutting out stalkers

Isn't the who's near on mobile the same really ..and it's very intelligent too as it's just informed me that Wexford is only 8 miles from Tipp ..or maybe that person on that profile is telling porkies ..and somehow I think it's the latter..

And you don't think this wouldn't be a gift to the weirdos and stalkers it just wouldn't work as well as you think it would

I wasn't being flippant. Men don't like being approached by weirdos either. I'm speaking from experience.

Although, as Fabbers, having high hedges can lead to more outdoor activities
