I'm off from work after today so I'm going to check out some of Ireland's beaches.

Weather might not be great but you can't beat a Sandy beach

Too late ... I'm visiting Enniscrone & Slievemore. Both look like amazing beaches.

Not really, he said "holiday in ireland" so he implied he was going to travel somewhere and require overnight accommodation.

Perhaps you should look up the definition of "staycation" before attempting to "correct" the OP.

There are so many great places to go to here in Ireland. One of the biggest problems I see is being ripped oof here at home. I live in Killarney and see how expensive it is to eat out here in town. A new place opened 2 weeks ago and have a lunch special which is silly. A sandwich with chips and a non alcoholic drink works out at €16. Theres no kids menu. So a family of 4 end up pay €60 just for lunch.

Great beaches, great surfing. Some lovely walks too. Day trip to bundoran or enniscrone. Can recommend Hooked, Eala Bhan or Rigatoni in town centre for good.
