I'd say that it would be a personal choice.

That would be an ecumenical matter

It’s definitely a personal choice.

“Close contacts” should be kept to a minimum, hence why the number of people meeting in a house has been reduced to 10 (from 4 households). If you’re in an indoor premises where 50 people can be it’s expected that people will keep to the 2m distance and follow all guidelines set out by the hpsc.

What people need to take into consideration is that it’s a personal choice that could potentially impact on a countless number of people.

I think as long as people have downloaded the app, done a temperature check and feel ok beforehand, it’s ok.

Contract tracing would be important from a social responsibility perspective.

I suppose at this stage it's down to you like it's been said a social meet is still ok but anything more than that is your call

The virus is beginning to spread quickly again, why add to the problem.

Its up to you OP.

We meet people for coffee. We did not decide yet when we want to meet them for fun.

In our opinion it is a little too early.

We have no interest in meeting at the moment, until we feel it is safe enough to do so. We are also wary of people who have started and take note of people who haven’t stopped.

As has been said above, why add to the problem? Our lives matter!

You think people holding house parties are standing at the door doing temperature checks and taking down contact details?

Youghal

For us, parties and playing with others, absolutely too soon.

The numbers are on the rise again and there will be a 2nd wave of this.

Would rather not go back in a full lockdown or risk our and others health so we'll continue to be sensible and hold off.

There'll always be another party.

For parties and larger meets I'm thinking too soon..As a single female who hasn't had any human physical contact in five months the decision will have to be given some thought..possibly a fwb with a male friend..scared of this option too but its definitely something adversely affecting me.. Just my thoughts..be safe x

There's different levels of risk, meeting one person is low risk, parties are up there. And we all need human contact and physical touch for our psychological wellbeing.

Still too soon for this octopus. Sure, I crave intimacy and entertainment after this long, but no meet is worth the risk to my life and health or that of those I love.

Parties and gatherings I think its too soon with the rise and clusters. A coffee where you can safely distance, or a Single or couple FWB/FB , lower end of the risk too. But still an element of risk. The lack of physical contact of any sort is and issue in itself. It really depends on multiple factors of your own health, that of people you may be in contact with and that of the person you meet for coffee or FWB/FB.
