Swinger garden symbols

I have read that pampas grass, purple Garden decorations, pineapples and Garden knomes are subtle clues to let passers by know that the occupants of the home are swingers , does anyone still actively use these subtle signs and have you had and neighbours or passing swingers comment on them. Or is it all just a myth

Ive heard the story (myth?) about pampas grass before.

Never heard of any of the others and I presume the internet has pretty much taken over from all these things if true anyway

I just don't understand why people would advertise that they are swingers, even with codes.

Somehow I doubt they want random swingers knocking at their doors looking to get down.

I imagine the hassle would well outweigh the gain.

Nowadays I would say it's a myth. In fact it was probably always a myth. I can't see why anyone would advertise it to everyone. Same as ankle bracelets.

Apparently the pampas grass was ver common in gardens, but then it became associated with swinging to the point where people started removing it from their gardens , garden centres don’t even stock it anymore, With the internet now you can find swingers at the touch of a button, and it is taken for granted, mabye in older times these were actually signs , just wondering how fellow swingers would find each other, mabye it was a secret code

A friend of mine witnessed that actually happening in his local golf club lounge one night. He was clearing up at the end of the night and these were all committee members and their partners. That was 20 years ago though

I have a pampas grass on garden last 12 years only reason it's still there is it's a night are you remove. Would want 10 layers of clothes,gloves and facemask, nasty wee feckers
