"I said it to her and her exact reply was "no you don't, fuck off" Were together 2 years now though. Bet you're glad you didn't listen to her " Haha we both burst out laughing after her reply, by the end of that night we were a couple. We live together now so I'm glad all worked out so far

"Though I presume you are trying to bring some light fun and banter in this thread, I'd like to add some food for thought on a more serious note! Sad state of affairs really, particularly with Covid 19 and the damage done in many ways, hopefully most of us have had some time to reflect and ponder what's actually important in life! Isn't feeling love a beautiful thing, and aren't there so many different types of love out there?! Be it the love you have for your parents, siblings, children, friends, family in general, spouse or significant other...though I know some of these may be clouded by certain "politics" and past experiences within a unit, but deep down isn't that the feeling most of us have for those who are close to us? As for "love" for a partner, be they your already established life partner or partner in marriage, or someone you are starting out with, a partner you are intimate with, either on a regular basis or as a once-off...is that intimacy that's created on a physical level, which on my behalf can only ensue after an emotional level of intimacy has been created, is that not also a type of "love"? It doesn't necessarily need to be repeated and doesn't necessarily have the strings of a relationship attached! For me to tell someone I love them, there doesn't need to be a pre-requisite for them being either my parent, offspring or life partner...it doesn't have to be "true love" as romantically depicted in fairytales which are bullshit anyway! Love is all around us! It takes many different forms! I for one would say: I love you too I love all of you ![]() Jaysus Sorry I Asked ![]()
