Not even near good enough, if this was supposed to be our easiest game i dread to think what's coming. Italy and Spain looked very good. Our midfield is lacking is some serious quality, no harm to andrews and whelan but their no were near good enough, and Duff and mcgeady are not near good enough. Time for a change i think

England made feck all of an impact. Neither of the qualifying teams from there groups are in it anymore. They got 90 minutes more then us. If they had have got our group they would not have got out of it.

They would have got a point v Italy. They bet Spain not so long ago and they would have got 3 points of Croatia. I'm thinkin they might have got through.

They are important for co efficient points. If 2 teams are even in the group with same points and goal difference and same head to head then whoever is ahead in the FIFA rankings goes through. So they do count for something

Aye no harm to ya, obviously some hate here but Ireland were shite!! Leave the hatred at home and have a look and even the biggest rebel (not peace time warrior) would admit ireland aint nothing but a joke team and really should not be mentioned in the same breathe as the England team. The real lucky thing is that England were not in Irelands group, cuz that would of been embarrssing. TRUST. Also on a side note..did ya have to pick on the England team? HOLLAND WERE SHOCKING!!
