Something i'm missing and can't see returni g to normal for another year.

Question is what was your favourite gig you've been at, and what was your last gig?

(All music genres included)

Hah ... posted the topic and forgot to put mine.

Best gig ... Nine Inch Nails in Manchester Apollo about 15yrs ago (small venue for a big gig)

Last gig ... local band called Born as Ghosts (rage agaist the machine tribute act) relly good.

Last gig of a bigger act, Machine Head on their last visit - played 3.5 hrs for a £30 ticket!

Only ever been to 6 gigs in my life spread over 30 years so not much to compare. Twice to Springsteen in the late 80's early 90's and didn't go to another one until 2016 when I saw The Hothouse flowers at an intimate gig with less than 50 people. Then Wet Wet Wet followed by Bryan Adams in 2017. Best was the first Springsteen gig and last was UB40 last year.

somewhere

Worked at 3 or 4 gigs a week for the last 12 years.

Too many memorable ones to mention but really miss the music and the crowd

Hopefully by next summer bands will be touring again

Best gig was Iron Maiden 2008 on the 'Somewhere Back in Time Tour'. Ended up going all the way to Budapest to see them.

They played all classic tunes and it was an explosion of nostalgia. Not their best performance but it was just pure joy for me.

Last gig was Metallica at Slane. Absolute balls of a day but Metallica were on fire and more than made the earlier part of the day worthwhile.

3 of them at the same festival. Oxygen 2006..The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys and James Brown were all unreal that weekend. There was some lineup for that festival. Red hot chilli peppers, Paul Weller ,Ben Harper, The Charlatans. Oxygen was class back then

The Wide Blue Yonder

Prince in London once upon a time.

Music, sex, performance, theatre, and more sex all wrapped up in a hot, sweaty evening.
