I’m back at football and that but not sure about the gym, I’d imagine if it’s up to people to clean machines after use they won’t make a very good job at it!

The Road to Nowhere

I went back on Monday. I was with a trainer but could see the equipment being wiped down by staff & all equipment has been moved to allow for social distancing. As far as I know, my gym is taking bookings. Not sure how that will work for people who aren't going to classes or meeting with a trainer.

The yoga studio I go to won’t be open until the end of July and you can’t just turn up any more. There will be reduced numbers and your spot must be booked and you have to bring your own mats and what not too.

I was just at my gym very impressed how they managed it. Short 4 question medical survey every time you go and you sign in and out. It's 90 mins max to workout. In the cardio section they had every second machine out of order for social distancing. I thought it would be busy but there was only a handful of people there

Mine is a pain in the back side at the moment. You can o ly stay an hour, has to begin part only, so if you go the gym, you cant go swimming, nor can you leave and come back to use other part on a separate booking. Price is still the same even though you are limited to an hour and only have the use of a fraction of facilities.

Lucky I have a good set up at home so I can just train there and then go for a swim. Unfortunately the best part is still closed...the sauna and steam room!

I don't use gyms tbh ,simply because l don't have the money to fork out for them and need it elsewhere ,I don't know how things will proceed regards gyms ,if member space is reduced ,will the cost of going increase ?
