Zero effort profiles

Recently we have been getting so many messages from faceless, zero content, zero verification non site supporter profiles. My gripe is that they want to know what we are into and what we are looking for. Then they get offended when we are blunt in our response or just delete their message. Why should we give them the time or the effort when our profile clearly explains what we are looking for and even illustrate this with pictures. Why should we when these people bring absolutely nothing to the table. Rant over...... Dirk

Easy fix, filters set to kill.. Saves soooo much hassle

It is annoying when we get a one word message off a couple with no pics or nothing on the profile usually created that day asking for pics ?? or even the profiles created over a year ago with the same lack of effort on the profiles. Tis why we've stopped accepting friend requests unless we've hooked up or met with them.

It really is just getting rediculous at the minute. Missus will agree when i say i have so much patience with people. When a blank newbie messages us i usually give them the advice they need to hopefully get them off on the right foot with people. One just as recently with yesterday who was very appreciative of the help. One thing i really cannot stand though is the blank profile who has been on for over a year with no verifications and the "fill this in later" line having a go at us for not wanting to talk to them or give in to their demands. We’d be the same with our responses to one line messages if the couple is new - a bit of friendly encouragement or advice to fill in the profile and add a few pics. Very often instead of a response we’re hit with a friend request and our advice is ignored.

They must all be getting lots of attention if they get by on here with so little effort.

Works both ways really,I’ve made effort to mail some ladies on here only to be ignored which is fine can’t be everyone’s cup of tea also need to remember the ratio men to women is crazy,but there are plenty of time wasters and trolls on here filters work wonders to eliminate them

Worth your while to read the "Men of Fab" thread, possibly a good few of these zero efforts are looking for face pics, etc and up to no good, seriously

Unfortunately and I say that lightly, I don't know but wonder are these people lovely folk in real life? Is it a kind of escapism to vent frustrations here, who knows but one thing I know is if it gets to people what random strangers say with meaningless profiles you're in trouble, it's so not worth dwelling over

Just to add what also annoys me are abrupt profiles. I've read quite a few that have said in the same profile "don't call me hun/babe etc" "stop asking me how I am" "put effort into the message" "send face pic" (when they don't have face pic themselves) "no bi men" (when they're bi themselves lol it really puts me off tbh. Ok yeah I know receiving lots of messages asking how are you is annoying but isn't that how we start conversations?

Hard to know what to put into the profile. If someone sees that you are trying to be nice and start a conversation and you think their profile lacks something drop a wee line of advice. I’d greatly appreciate that.
