I'd say maybe late September onwards should he ok .

But I'd say it might be difficult to find a venue as if there are still any sort of social distancing rules a bar is unlikely to take a large booking which may limit the amount of regulars or just off the street trade that it usually gets on a given night .

Although if it was to be a mid week social that might allow for a bigger attendance .

The current infection rate will give you a good indication of how risky larger gatherings are, the BLM protests were 10-12 days ago, interesting to see if there's a spike in cases..

Have ppl considered organising just smaller socials?ie less than 50 ppl attending....maybe max 30??A few ppl could organise several social events rather than just the one.As mentioned above already,it may be a struggle to book a venue for larger socials until maybe next year.Just an idea if someone has'nt already thought of it!
