so does anyone on here have a 3d printer ive been thinking of trying my hand at designing mascaraed masks for parties that or sex related accessories.

They are cheap enough to buy now.

As for masquerade masks buy the time you've got a printer the design and actually printed the mask it would be a lot cheaper to just buy a mask. Especially a simple plastic one even a intricately designed lace type one made from plastic.

You have to remember is all about economy of scale. In the time you print off one mask a factory in China can produce 10,000 better quality masks.

But if you are just doing in for a hobby buy your own printer and fill you boots.

Creality Ender 3 or for larger prints go for the ender 5

Ashbourne(ish) and Chesterfield(ish)

We have two Ender 3's and they are a fantastic machine that produces great prints right out of the box, they can also be easily upgraded to direct drive.

I’ve used them professionally - both plastic ones and metal ones.

The curved surface needed for a mask probably won’t print well unless you have the right nozzle (thin) and filament (ABS/PLA plastic)

Even then, they’d be quite sweaty and brittle to wear.

If you can get your hands on a metal one then you could try more adventurous designs like butt-plugs, dildos etc. - but I’d say those printers are best used to make replacement knee and hip joints lol
