I must confess. A while ago I asked about what if any concerns should I have about working in a city I once patrolled as a soldier. It had a mixed reaction but I am pleased to say that I did indeed go and had no trouble at all. I drove around both sides of the Foyle and everyone I spoke to all had a smile and were happy to receive the PPE. I obviously did not mention my military past but as it was warm I wore short sleeves so I'm sure a few people must of guessed by my ill judged tattoos I wear. I had a very enjoyable few weeks and enjoyed some very nice Irish hospitality. I intend to now take my motorhome and travel to both sides of the border once this awful virus is either under strict control or eradicated. go raibh maith agat.
