After all this madness is over is and thd clubs open again is anyone interested in making a weekend trip across the water we are thinking leave fri lunchtime do our own thing fri nite as a group out to dinner few drinks in a local bar etc then on the sat the ladies can go shopping etc while the men do whatever men do then we all meet up sat nite and hit one of the clubs then sun afted a nice lie in and breakfast we head home just an idea feel free to comment below or pm me with ideas or suggestions just thought it would be a good idea to go as a group incase like myself anyone is nervous about going on their own lol

We are thinking of possibly running a coach over so those that are afraid to fly or dont want to fly with what is going on can go by boat only problem with that is its an overnite from belfast to liverpool obviously there will be costs involved but these will be kept to a minimum as much as possible i cant believe noone has come up with this idea before lol

Why not pick a date , contact the club to make sure they can fit in a large group on the said date and go from there. It's all just a pie in the sky until there's a definite plan in place.

Bit difficult to pick a date as we dont know when clubs are going to open again i dont want to be giving people false hope then if it doesnt work out for the set date im left with a lot of angry people plus alot of people myself included work alot of weekends and nothing worse than booking a weekend off having plans then they fall through getting a weekend off in my job is like pulling hens teeth

It is good idia for the future when clubs will be reopened. But on fab so many time waisters. Team up with your fab friends and go is more realistic.

Check membership.. enter fee .. travel + acomadation.. it will cost money ..see who can afford it and have weekend off .. anyway good luck with it lol xx

Blackpool would be a good plan. Two great clubs: Infusion and club play (was sx). Plenty of cheap accommodation and club play allows single males in on sat night (most clubs don't). Only down side is it's shite for shopping (unless you want rock or a kiss me quick hat)

Two thoughts spring to mind...

1. Ask around the clubs you never know unless you ask them..would they be able to do a one off deal re special membership for the night if you guaranteed certain numbers...it could be dicey club may not want to up set their regulars.. re discounts for others..

2. Enquire if a club would consider letting it be hired out specifically for your party..

Have an exclusive irish only night..(it doesn't have to be 17th march)..

You may need a fleet of coaches for that from ireland not just a coach..

There is actually a third option thinking about it....

Someone open a bloody club in ireland...

...

Go into the wales section and read my post on the country mansion thread about someone hiring a conference centre in somerset a few years back..you may find that interesting..would be intrigued to hear your thoughts on that..
