It's scary to see how many fake profiles on here are getting verifications!

There should be a mandatory rule that you need at minimum a photo verification to prove you are who you say you are before being allowed on the site.

Exactly that's the only way to spot fakes. Photo veri is not fool proof either.

No i know that 100%, but I mean at a minimum it should be required. Personally nothing worse than to speaking to someone to only find out their fake

Do you think they are set up for attention?

Or to be ignored?

Give them attention and you have justified their goal.

Ignore them and they will soon get fed up and disappear.

Once I know their fake reported and blocked, I dont assume everyones fake, their is genuine and nice people who dont have verifications or photo verifications but thats the risk I suppose

Photo veri has its limitations. Not that I don't sympathise with the frustration caused by fake or disingenuous profiles.

Verified does not necessarily mean genuine.
